Snapchat me that Crisis

This work engages with the refugee crisis, through investigative journalism and moving image, it critiques the way social media and mass media are curated and used.

I situate myself at the centre of my work, using moving image to articulate opinions.

Snapchat me that Crisis is based on original interviews with volunteers and refugees, and visits to the Zatari refugee camp in Jordan, exhibited here as a critique of the amount and expression of information on social media.

Walk a Mile in her Veil

Walk a Mile in her Veil is an introspection of Arab identity through the lens of the veil and its user, inviting visitors to try on the veil and understand first-hand the cultural, social, and feminist motives behind it.
